Reservations – Please call Tin Can Tourists well in advance to ensure the departure date of your choice. Reservations can be taken by phone,or via email over the internet.
Deposit – Tin Can tourists will require a non refundable deposit of 30% with the balance available due 6 weeks before the hire date starts.
Payment – The balance payable due 6 weeks before hire date starts , Visa ,Mastercard Cashiers and uk currency please. Also on pick up we will require a cash deposit of £500.00 , this will be returned to you in full on return providing there is no damage to the campervan.
Cancellation – Tin Can tourists regret that booking deposits are non refundable and non transferable. We realize that real life emergencies can happen with very little warning so we do advise you to take out holiday insurance for these unforseen circumstances.
Rules for Drivers– Drivers must be at least 25 years old with a clean uk or international drivers licence. all of our price's include insurance for 1 driver. Also included is uk AA recovery service. Also this covers you for unlimited mileage in a 250 mile radius.
Pick-up and Drop off – The Rental office is open Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. Arrangements to meet are easy to make, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Don’t worry, we’ll work it out! All Campervans must be picked up by 2pm and returned between 9am and 11am. There will be a minimum charge of £80 for late return which will be taken out of your deposit bond. There will also be a valet charge of £50 if the Campervan is not brought back clean inside and out , which will also be taken out of your bond.
The Campervan will be hired out to you with a full tank of fuel , and must be returned with a full tank of fuel.
Free Parking – Your own personal transport can be left free of charge at our safe and secure lockup.
Camper Rules – No smoking in Campervan please , please step outside. We will provide moderate cleaning supplies. We expect you to use these to keep the Campervan relatively clean and tidy for its return. Normal wear and tear is expected. We do not offer cleaning as a service and leaving a mess is considered damage. No pets please and any evidence of a pet will result in loss of total deposit.
IMPORTANT - THERE WILL BE A VALET CHARGE OF £50 IF THE CAMPERVAN IS NOT BROUGHT BACK IN THE CONDITION YOU RECEIVED IT IN.
THIS CHARGE WILL ALSO COME OUT OF YOUR DEPOSIT BOND.
